ARSON SUSPECTED IN BLAZE AT ABANDONED HOUSE

Officials say that arson is suspected, in a blaze that destroyed a vacant building on West
Forest Street in Rome early Sunday morning.
However Fire Safety Specialist Johnie Evans said the cause is still under investigation at
this time.
Reportedly Rome Police questioned a suspect shortly after the fire broke out - but there
was no evidence at the time, to show the suspect did indeed, set the fire.
